Black tent in place – trial went from oh-no to so-so to ok
For some reson our resourceful IST (international service team) did not have the chance to assemble our new cool kitchen tent until 12 o’clock on the first camp day.
It was getting really dark when we had the brilliant idea to use nine meter center pole instead of a five meter pole.
We thought it was a nice idea to have a flag-pole in the center but it turned out too heavy so the tent went off-balance. We ended up sleeping the first night like this…
The next trial turned up like this:
But in the end it turned up like this. It just needs some trimming and it will be grand!
Many thanks to Ralph at the German Scoutladen for his excellent help and patience in ordering this excellent tent.
